It was rather sobering, though, to be able to see the smoke from the moorland fires at Saddleworth and Winter Hill in the distance.
So, our feeling is that our next gathering – 29th July – should be as close to Saddleworth Moor as we can get. We’ll do a kind of lament/ healing ritual.
